one of the many things i liked about seinfeld was its treatment of elaine’s sexuality
generally women- especially in sitcoms- are shown as disinterested in sex. either that, or they are shown as comically interested in sex- sort of man-hungry, etc.
elaine is interested in sex but in the same way the guys are. she’s just another shlub who occasionally tries to get laid

Loved the episode where George and Elaine stop having sex. George turns into a genius and Elaine into a mess. Such a revolutionary thought - sex is positive for women, it makes their lives better, they like it, it’s OK (more than OK - sometimes necessary) for them to seek it. Never thought about that until now!
